La desprotección familiar constituye un problema inscrito en el contexto de una crisis silenciosa y sostenida, que vulnera los derechos fundamentales de los niños, niñas y adolescentes. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la desprotección familiar y el amparo familiar en la infancia y adolescencia mediante una revisión sistemática. Se empleó una metodología de enfoque cualitativo con diseño descriptivo, siguiendo el Protocolo PRISMA. Se consultaron las bases de datos Scielo y Scopus entre los años 2021 al 2025, incluyendo 25 estudios para la revisión. Los hallazgos evidenciaron una problemática persistente de desprotección familiar en menores, así como la ausencia de intervención adecuada sobre los elementos que incrementan su vulnerabilidad. En conclusión, la plena garantía de los derechos de la infancia y adolescencia requiere la adopción de un enfoque de protección integral que modifique el enfoque institucional, pasando de reacciones aisladas a estrategias preventivas y restaurativas.
Family neglect is a problem embedded within a silent and sustained crisis that jeopardizes the fundamental rights of children and adolescents. This study aimed to analyze family neglect and family support for children and adolescents through a systematic review. A qualitative methodology with a descriptive design was employed, following the PRISMA protocol. The Scielo and Scopus databases were consulted for the years 2021 to 2025, including 25 studies in the review. The findings revealed a persistent problem of family neglect among minors, as well as the lack of adequate intervention on the elements that increase their vulnerability. In conclusion, the full guarantee of the rights of children and adolescents requires the adoption of a comprehensive protective approach that modifies the institutional focus, moving from isolated reactions to preventive and restorative strategies.
