El estudio tuvo como propósito examinar el impacto de la inteligencia artificial en la educación universitaria, destacando sus aplicaciones más relevantes y los principales desafíos y beneficios asociados. Se empleó una metodología cualitativa de revisión bibliográfica descriptiva para abordar aspectos clave relacionados con la integración de la inteligencia artificial en el ámbito académico. Los hallazgos del estudio señalaron que la inteligencia artificial beneficia tanto a estudiantes como a docentes al facilitarles el acceso a recursos personalizados, mejorar la retroalimentación recibida, optimizar la gestión del tiempo y de los recursos para los profesores, así como fomentar métodos de enseñanza interactivos y adaptativos que mejoran la participación y comprensión de los estudiantes. En conclusión, se estableció que la inteligencia artificial desempeña un papel fundamental en la mejora de la calidad educativa en las universidades, al proporcionar herramientas y recursos que enriquecen la experiencia de aprendizaje tanto para los estudiantes como para los educadores.
The purpose of the study was to examine the impact of artificial intelligence in university education, highlighting its most relevant applications and the main challenges and benefits associated with it. A qualitative descriptive literature review methodology was used to address key aspects related to the integration of artificial intelligence in the academic field. The findings of the study indicated that artificial intelligence benefits both students and teachers by facilitating access to personalized resources, improving the feedback received, optimizing time and resource management for teachers, as well as promoting interactive and adaptive teaching methods that improve student engagement and understanding. In conclusion, it was established that artificial intelligence plays a fundamental role in improving educational quality in universities, by providing tools and resources that enrich the learning experience for both students and educators.
