Autores/as

This systematic review addresses the challenges and benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) for secondary education teachers globally between 2022 and 2025. The objective of this research was to analyze articles that discussed the challenges and benefits associated with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) for secondary education teachers globally. Using the PRISMA methodology, 21 articles from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and SciELO were examined. The results reveal challenges such as the lack of clear guidelines, misuse of generative tools by students, and the need to develop advanced digital skills. Benefits include improved teacher digital competence, task automation, learning personalization, and reduced burnout. It is concluded that AI offers transformative opportunities for education but requires ethical implementation, ongoing training, and a robust framework to guide its effective use in the classroom.
