Artificial intelligence (AI) has positioned itself as a determining factor in the transformation of educational processes. The study aims to analyze the contribution of artificial intelligence (AI) to educational competencies for learning development over the period from 2020 to 2024. The methodology is qualitative, applying the guidelines of the Prisma 2020 protocol. The search was conducted in the Wos, Scielo, and Scopus databases, resulting in Scopus with 28,155 studies. After applying the inclusion criteria, a total of 26 studies were selected for the review. The results indicate that the current educational challenge lies not only in incorporating AI, but also in ensuring that such integration adheres to the principles of inclusion, equity, and educational quality. Artificial intelligence has many contributions to education for teachers; however, it is important to consider ethics when using these AI tools; each individual sets limits on their actions.
