Contenido principal del artículo

Autores/as

The objective was to synthesize the scientific evidence in relation to cyberbullying and its impact on the human dimension. The methodology was a systematic review of scientific articles from the Scopus database published between 2019 and 2023, leaving 73 investigations for analysis. The results revealed a significant deterioration in the human dignity of victims of cyberbullying, with noticeable effects on the educational, social and health dimensions. Conclusion, it is confirmed that cyberbullying has adverse effects on the mental, physical and social health of students, with symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress and other associated psychological disorders that favor the appearance of risky behaviors that directly affect their overall well-being, their academic performance and the quality of their interpersonal relationships. The urgent need to implement intervention and support programs that address this social phenomenon from a psychological, social and comprehensive health approach is underlined.
